After First Session
Straight after treatment · Frosting is normal · Part of the process
Laser tattoo removal is a gradual process and every treatment journey is unique. Frosting can appear immediately after treatment and normally settles as the skin begins to recover. Results vary depending on tattoo colour, ink density, age, location, skin type and the body's natural healing response.
TREATMENT PRICING
Laser Tattoo Removal pricing depends on tattoo size, ink density and placement. Carbon Facial pricing is shown below. A personalised treatment plan will be discussed during your consultation.
SOUTH OXFORDSHIRE (COMMIT & SAVE!)
Carbon Facial Pricing
Carbon Laser Facials are designed to refresh the skin, cleanse pores and improve the look of skin texture with minimal downtime.
COMMIT & SAVE
Carbon facial treatments are subject to consultation and suitability. A patch test may be required depending on your skin, medical history and previous reactions.
For best results, arrive with clean skin where possible and avoid strong actives, retinoids, exfoliating acids and tanning before treatment as advised.
Fungal Nail Laser Pricing
Professional laser treatment designed to target fungal nail infections while supporting healthy nail growth. Full treatment prices are shown below.
Fungal nail laser treatments are subject to consultation, suitability and a patch test. The number of treatments required depends on the severity of the infection and individual nail growth.
Healthy nail growth is gradual, and visible improvement can take several months as the damaged nail grows out. Good foot hygiene and following your aftercare advice are essential to help reduce the risk of reinfection.
Laser Treatments Treatment Policies & Booking Information
All treatments at BARE by Marlese are tailored to your individual needs following a consultation and patch test.
Laser Tattoo Removal treatment plans are based on factors such as tattoo size, colour, age, depth, location, skin type and your body's natural ability to remove fragmented ink. Whether your goal is complete removal or fading for a cover-up, every treatment plan is personalised. Complete tattoo removal cannot be guaranteed, and the number of sessions required varies from person to person.
Carbon Laser Facial treatments are designed to improve overall skin health and appearance by targeting excess oil, enlarged pores, congestion, uneven skin tone and fine lines while stimulating collagen production. Visible improvements are often seen after the first treatment, with the best results typically achieved through a course of treatments combined with good skincare, sun protection and following the recommended treatment intervals. Individual results will vary depending on skin type, skin condition and lifestyle factors.
Fungal Toenail Laser Treatment works by targeting the fungal infection within the nail while allowing healthy nail growth over time. As nails grow slowly, visible improvement takes several months, and multiple treatments may be recommended depending on the severity of the infection. Good foot hygiene and following aftercare advice are essential to reduce the risk of reinfection.
Treatment intervals are recommended to maximise both safety and results. Laser tattoo removal treatments require a minimum interval of 6 weeks between sessions to allow the skin to heal and the body to naturally remove fragmented ink. Carbon Laser Facial and Fungal Toenail Laser treatments are normally scheduled at intervals recommended during your consultation based on your individual treatment plan.
Treatment bundles must be paid in full at the time of purchase and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any unused sessions remaining after this period will expire and cannot be extended.
Consultation and patch test deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another appointment if at least 24 hours' notice is provided.
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule any appointment. Late cancellations, missed appointments or failure to attend without notice may result in the treatment session being deducted from your bundle or forfeited where applicable.

Why Choose BARE by Marlese
AFTERCARE
Consistent fungal nail aftercare and foot hygiene are important because the nail grows slowly and reinfection can affect progress.
Immediately After Treatment
The treated nail and surrounding skin may feel warm for a short period. Keep the feet clean and dry and follow the individual instructions provided.
Footwear & Socks
Wear clean, breathable socks and rotate or disinfect footwear as advised. Avoid repeatedly placing treated feet into damp or contaminated shoes.
Nail & Foot Hygiene
Keep nails trimmed appropriately, do not share nail tools and follow any podiatry or medical guidance given for thickened or damaged nails.
Healthy Nail Growth
Visible change is gradual because the affected nail must grow out. Attend recommended sessions and continue the hygiene measures advised to reduce reinfection risk.
FAQ
How does Fungal Nail Laser Treatment work?
Controlled laser energy is applied to the affected nail and surrounding area as part of a personalised treatment plan.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions depends on infection severity, nail thickness, the number of nails affected, growth rate and individual response. Courses of four are available.
When will I see results?
Toenails grow slowly, so visible improvement can take several months as damaged nail grows out and clearer nail becomes visible.
Does the treatment hurt?
Clients may feel warmth during treatment. Comfort is monitored and settings are adjusted according to the treatment plan and response.
Do I need the nail filed down first?
Very thickened nail may need reduction by a suitably qualified foot-health professional or podiatrist before laser treatment. This is discussed during assessment.
Should I remove nail polish?
Yes. Nails should be clean and free from polish, gel or artificial nail products before assessment and treatment.
Can the infection return?
Reinfection is possible. Foot hygiene, clean socks, footwear care and following aftercare guidance are important throughout the treatment journey.
Is treatment guaranteed to clear the nail?
No treatment can guarantee a specific result. Progress depends on diagnosis, infection severity, nail growth, general health, hygiene and adherence to aftercare.
Should I see my GP or podiatrist?
A medical or podiatry opinion may be recommended where diagnosis is uncertain, the nail is very thick, there is pain, broken skin, circulation concern or another condition may be present.
